Eating outside in 70 degree sunshine, during that golden hour before sunset where everything outdoors is absolutely gorgeous. Eating delicious food from Ricker dining, like what the fuck that place is unreal. In the company of some of my favorite people here at Stanford. I fucking love spring quarter.

Life just has these amazing moments.

IntroSem professor had our class over for dinner tonight, with some other Stanford alum guests. Old Stanford alum have the best stories ever.

Ron, the old guy with glasses like the old guy in Up, lost his flash drive for the presentation on vacuum tubes. Our TA asked if he’d heard of dropbox. “Hm…dropbox…no I’m not sure…” Bill explains it’s a way of syncing your files between computers. “Oh yes, I know what that is! It’s just when you said dropbox my first thought was dropping boxes, like we did with live chickens once from the roof of MemAud.” WHAT. So then he tells us stories about breaking into the roof grid above the stage, and how for Gaieties one year they bought 100 ping pong balls and built a contraption to drop them over the pit orchestra so that they’d fall on each of the timpanis. Lol fucking greatest thing ever. And the way he told it was just so great. “So they go up all the ladders and get to the grid only to find the door was locked. Who locked it? -mock puzzled expression- And then they had to go all the way back down and find a janitor with the keys, and unlock it, by which point we were nowhere to be found!”

And then this other neighbor guy that dropped by told us about how one of the frats once started a pizza service out of their frat’s kitchen and he rode a motorcycle and delivered them across campus. One time he delivers to a place where some guys are smoking and offer him a bong hit. So “of course!” he takes it and then later falls off his bike with the pizzas. Some of the pizzas are half out of the box, so he just combines the intact halves and delivers them.

Alumni have the best stories.

I’m not entirely sure what exactly happened, but I think the tenor sax sexion leader might have asked Condoleezza Rice to be the Official Secretary of State of the Tenrz at tonight’s basketball game.

And apparently she accepted, saying there was no greater honor.

Condi, band, tenrz, and Stanford are all pretty fucking dope.

Took Wilderness First Aid this past weekend. Certified and everything.

And then got into a bike accident today and scraped up my arm and can’t deal with cleaning a surface level abrasion. Hysterics down the hall when Lisa approaches with a soapy paper towel.

If anyone on SPOT gets so much as a bloody nose I think I’ll die.
