Haven’t paddled at all this season and missed all of regatta season for China, but stopped by the Championship regatta this weekend to say hello. The HP tent with all the chairs, crews on and off the water, war paint, constant barbequing, endless food tent, flip flops and tan lines. The hugs hello. The lulz and HP spirit.

I can’t believe we’re down to the last 3 days. I feel like I’ve been here for so much longer than 5 weeks, but at the same time it went by so so fast. Hella gonna miss thissssssss.

2 hour lunchtime mission after this morning’s final to find fireworks for our 4th of July celebration.
So we set off to Chipu Lu because it’s supposed to be in a sketchier area, not sure how to say “firework” in Chinese, but figuring that by going pew pew and making hand gestures we could figure it out.

sunday night laundry woes
Borrowing my balcony space for hanging laundry isn’t enough, Kyle had to take my entire laundry line, clothespins and all, breaking yet another hanger in the process.
